Root Canal Treatment
Root Canal Treatment is a dental procedure used to treat an infection at the centre of a tooth (the root canal system). It is required when the blood or nerve supply of a tooth (known as the pulp) is infected through decay, or injury.
With Root Canal Treatment the dentist removes the damaged, or infected pulp and replaces it with a special filler, which helps maintain the remaining of the tooth structure.
